Supporting a Toronto Park

As part of the Roncesvalles community, Sparked is proud to have supported Friends of Charles G. Williams Park by creating their website.

Friends of Charles G. Williams Park a local non-profit that is advocating to revitalize the children’s park located next to Sorauren Park. Their goals included making the park safer, adding more shade, expanding the play space and ensuring the park is an all-ages community space. 

When Sparked was approached to build a website to support the initiative, we were excited to contribute. The project became a real community collaboration, as we worked with local graphic designer Kate Hall, of Gravy Co, and local copywriter Shannon Abel. 

We’re pleased to report that this story has a happy ending: the city has agreed to revitalize the park, and has incorporated the community feedback provided by Friends of CGWP into the plans.
