For over 20 years, PermaCorp has been a North American leader in custom metal fabrication, providing railings, decks and balconies, special fabrications and extrusions to commercial and residential customers.

Overview

PermaCorp Group of Companies Inc. fabricates custom metal products that offer long-lasting beauty, enhanced safety and minimal maintenance costs. Built to withstand the harshest conditions, their products are non-combustible, tough against corrosion and engineered to meet their customer’s demands.

The challenge.

A Dated Website That Wasn't Pulling Its Weight

The website PermaCorp had in place was dated and showing its age. The navigation was clunky and the portfolio pieces didn’t reflect the scope and scale of PermaCorp’s capabilities. PermaCorp is a leading player in the North America’s metal fabrication industry, and they wanted a website that demonstrated that.

It was time for an overhaul.

The solution.

Leaning in to Large-Scale Imagery

From the outset, the PermaCorp team knew they wanted a new website that would showcase their work, with a particular emphasis on their railing and deck/balcony projects for multi-unit and high-rise residential buildings. They had a wide variety of images from past projects, and they wanted these images to be front and centre.

With this goal in mind, Sparked got to work architecting, writing and designing their new website. We worked collaboratively with their team to define their value proposition, translate their products and service offerings into sales copy, and identify the strongest images to tell their story.

A New Website That Showcases Their Industry Strength

After nearly 4 months of work, we launched a new website for PermaCorp in spring 2023, which featured several unique elements:

A full-width homepage hero that displays one of their stylish custom metal and glass railing projects.
A “See Our Work” image gallery on key pages that shows the breadth and depth of their work.
A “Why PermaCorp” page that sets them apart from their competition.
A “Careers” page that integrates with their HR workflow.
A gated “Product Showcase” brochure, which we also wrote and designed, that provides prospects with additional information about the company and enables lead follow-up.

After launching the website, Sparked continues to support PermaCorp by providing fully-managed website hosting and ongoing maintenance to ensure their website performs optimally and remains secure.
