The Challenge
A New Website for a New Boutique Advisory Firm
Gary Thorne, founder of ELEVATE, has extensive experience in the world of healthcare. He’s been both a healthcare business owner and a strategic acquirer, and for the last 15 year he was the VP Operations at one of Canada’s largest private healthcare companies.
Armed with knowledge, experience and passion for helping others, Gary founded ELEVATE Practice Intelligence in 2022. To support the launch of his new firm, he knew he needed an impactful website.
In early 2023, Gary engaged Sparked to write, design and develop a website for ELEVATE. ELEVATE’s goals were to establish its presence as a leading boutique advisory firm in the healthcare space, showcase its expertise and offerings, and generate new leads. The company wanted a website that leveraged conversion copywriting and design principles, while providing highly valuable information for its audience.
The Solution
A Modern Website Designed for Success
Building on the brand strategy and visual brand identity that ELEVATE’s team and brand designer had established, Sparked got to work writing, designing and developing a new website.
To write the copy, Sparked held a discovery session with Gary and his team, performed competitor and industry research, and drafted the homepage. Thrilled with the output, we then went on to draft the subsequent pages, employing conversion copywriting techniques and integrating SEO keywords.
From there, Sparked designed the website using a prototyping tool, utilizing ELEVATE’s colour palette and fonts, and bringing the brand vision to life. We designed the website for both desktop and mobile, and incorporated conversion rate optimization practices along the way.
When it came time for development, Sparked custom-developed the website in-house using WordPress and the latest page builders (no website templates or overseas outsourcing are used at Sparked!) and integrated ELEVATE’s Calendly account for easy consultation bookings.
The Result
A Website Done Right and Delivered On Time
After QA, testing and optimizations, ELEVATE’s new website went live in spring 2023. In addition to accomplishing the initial goals, the website also features several other elements:
- A “Watch” page that showcases Gary Thorne’s YouTube presence.
- An integration with Calendly to streamline free consultation bookings.
- Performance optimizations that create a fast and seamless user experience.
- Fully-managed website hosting to ensure the website performs optimally and securely.
- Website maintenance and support so Gary and his team can stay focused on their clients, knowing their website is taken care of.
Today, Sparked continues to work with ELEVATE, supporting their digital marketing efforts by providing ongoing copywriting services and technical website support.
