Sparked joins the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA)

January 12, 2023

We’re pleased to announce that Sparked Digital is now a member of the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA). Sparked was accepted into the CMA in January 2023, joining a community of some of the most influential marketers in Canada.

What is the CMA?

Since 1967, the CMA has been the voice of Canadian marketers. With members from over 400 corporations and 30 post-secondary institutions, the CMA is Canada’s leading marketing association.

The CMA supports activities related to thought-leadership, professional development, consumer protection and commercial success. They act as the primary advocate for marketing with governments, regulators and other stakeholders, and they champion self-regulatory standards like the Canadian Marketing Code of Ethics and Standards.

To ensure marketing professionals are highly qualified and up to date with best practices, the CMA also offers a Chartered Marketer designation.

Why Did Sparked Join the CMA?

Since day one, Sparked has prioritized working with businesses and organizations whose values align with ours and that promote ethical marketing standards.

Joining the CMA was our next step on this path.

We’re excited to be part of this community and we look forward to participating in the CMA’s wide range of seminars, professional development opportunities and networking events so we can keep our finger on the pulse of marketing in Canada.
